Ancient Bristlecone and Milky Way, Patriarch Grove, White Mountains, CA

A fire was burning in the distant Sierra which gave the night sky this orange/purple hue. I was pleased to capture the Milky Way rising in compliment with this enormous, ancient bristlecone.
