Wukoki Pueblo and Milky Way, Wupatki National Monument, AZ

North of Flagstaff, Arizona are the remarkable Anasazi Ruins of Wupatki and Wukoki Pueblos. Wukoki Pueblo, shown here, was built on top of this prominent rock so it could be seen from a distance as people entered the area in ancient times.
